Good afternoon Rebel family!!

March is upon us and spring break is here!  I pray that you and your's have a blessed and safe break.  Remember that we will begin the 4th 9 weeks when we return to school on March 14th.

Spring brings around several new sport seasons for our Rebels; baseball, track, archery, and tennis are in full swing this month.  Please remember to use our website and follow our social media accounts to keep up with all things pertaining to Rebel athletics. Also, our annual beauty and beau pageant is this month.  The elementary pageant will be held in the gym on Friday, March 18th and the 7th-12th grade pageant will be the following day, March 19th.  Please come out show your support for these students on those dates.

I would like to thank the senior class of 2022, their sponsor, and their families for raising the money to refurbish the gym stage.  The project looks great and we are very proud of it.  Also, the seniors are continuing to fund raise for their other project, the new digital sign.  This will replace the old sign and will be a great new addition to our campus.  Please see a senior or their parents to find out how you can help support their efforts.  Along the lines of new additions, I am very proud to inform everyone that dirt work on our new multi-purpose building is set to begin in late March or early April, depending on the weather.  This will be the first phase of this extensive project and we are glad to finally begin after being delayed from last year.  Remember that this building will serve every student in some capacity and it is being designed in a way that future additions can be added to meet whatever needs may arise.

I would like to send out a big thank you to the student council and everyone who supported today's student vs staff basketball game.  We raised over $1,100 dollars to help Taylor Kinnabrew, a 10th grader at Centreville Academy, fight her battle against cancer.  Our students chose what to do with these proceeds and their choices make me very proud of them, it also says a great deal about who they are as young men and women.  Thank you to all and please pray for Taylor!

Finally, I again ask for prayers for Chase Finley, a junior here at ASC.  Chase was in a car accident this past weekend and is currently hospitalized and recovering from his extensive injuries.  Please continue to pray for him and his family as they go through this time.

Again, have a great spring break and we look forward to a strong finish to the end of the school year.

God Bless and Go Rebels!!!
